My Son

A former convict, serving a life sentence for murder, is granted a one-day leave to visit his family after 15 years of good behavior. He hopes to reconnect with his 18-year-old son, who he hasn't seen since the boy was three, but the son views him with suspicion and resentment. As the day progresses, the father tries to make up for lost time and earn his son's forgiveness, but will their time together be enough to heal old wounds?
