My Brilliant Life

When 17-year-old Mi-ra becomes pregnant with her boyfriend Dae-soo, they face rejection from their families and must fend for themselves. But their son Ah-reum is born with a rare genetic disorder called progeria, which causes him to age rapidly and prematurely. As Ah-reum's health deteriorates, he decides to write a story about his parents' love to give them as a gift on his 17th birthday. Struggling to balance work and time with their son, Dae-soo and Mi-ra face the harsh reality that Ah-reum may not live to see adulthood. But when a TV crew discovers their story, they offer to make a documentary about Ah-reum and his condition. As the documentary airs, Ah-reum receives emails from a sick young girl who finds comfort in his story and offers hope in return. With time running out, Ah-reum races to complete his parents' love story as his final gift.
