My Babysitter's a Vampire

A geeky high school freshman, Ethan Morgan, is left in charge of his little sister, Jane, by his parents who hire a babysitter named Erica. However, Erica attends a party thrown by her vampire ex-boyfriend, Jesse, instead, and Ethan's parents are unaware that Sarah, a vampire, has taken her place. Ethan becomes infatuated with Sarah and discovers she is a vampire when he touches her and sees no reflection in the mirror. They, along with Ethan's best friend, Benny, follow Sarah to a party where they are attacked by a vampire sent by Jesse. The three of them head to the party to save Erica and their dimwitted friend, Rory, from the vampires. During a lunar eclipse, the vampires plan to trap the souls of teens going to see the premiere of a new movie, Dusk, so they can resurrect the souls of their ancient group. Benny's grandmother, an Earth Priestess, gives the trio enchanted daggers and a spell book to defeat the vampires. At the theatre, they thwart the vampires' plan, and Jesse is destroyed by vengeful souls released from a box called the Cubile Animus or "Nest of Souls". The next day; Ethan meets Erica and Rory who have decided to live peacefully as vampires.
