Music of the Heart

In the heart of New York City's Harlem neighborhood, a dedicated music teacher inspires a group of inner-city kids to find their rhythm and discover their passion for music. Despite the challenges and budget cuts that threaten to shut down the program, Roberta Guaspari refuses to give up and, with the help of her former pupils, parents, and renowned musicians, she organizes a benefit concert at Carnegie Hall to save the program. With the support of her mother, Assunta Guaspari, and love interest, Brian Turner, Roberta proves that music has the power to transform lives and bring people together. Nominated for two Academy Awards.
