In the French port city of Le Havre, a mummified body is discovered in a chimney by workers demolishing a wall. Captain Ariane Sallès and her colleague Gaspard Lesage lead the investigation, but they are met with silence from the well-respected family who owns the apartment. As they dig deeper, they uncover a dark web of secrets and deceit that threaten to tear the community apart. With the help of a veteran forensic expert, they race against time to uncover the truth behind the mysterious corpse.
