The Motivation

The Motivation follows the lives and training regimes of eight professional skateboarders as they prepare for the Street League Championship in New York City. Each skater faces unique challenges, including family pressures, injuries, money, fame, and internal struggles, as they compete for the coveted title of best skateboarder in the world and a $200,000 prize. With appearances from some of the biggest names in the sport, including Steve Berra, Chris Cole, Rob Dyrdek, Nyjah Huston, and Ryan Sheckler, this documentary takes viewers on a thrilling ride through the high-stakes world of professional skateboarding.
