In the coastal town of Wilhelmshaven, a lifeless body is discovered floating in the water. The victim was a Dutch KFOR officer stationed in Kosovo. Lead detective Holzer investigates and meets Michael, a sailing instructor, and his deaf wife Elena. As they communicate using sign language, Holzer becomes intrigued by their unique way of life, especially when he meets their daughter Sabin. As the mystery deepens, the investigation leads to unexpected revelations and a race against time to uncover the truth.
