Molly's Game

Based on a true story, Molly's Game is a gripping drama about a young woman's rise to power in the world of underground poker. After a devastating injury ends her Olympic skiing dreams, Molly Bloom (Jessica Chastain) takes a year off and moves to Los Angeles. She lands a job as a bottle service waitress at a club, where she meets Dean (Jeremy Strong), an unsuccessful real estate developer who runs illegal poker games. Molly quickly learns the ropes and becomes Dean's office manager, earning large sums of money in tips. As Molly becomes more independent and successful, Dean attempts to control her and eventually fires her. Determined to strike out on her own, Molly starts her own poker games, renting a hotel penthouse and hiring staff.
