Frequently asked questions

What is Bachelorette about? Toggle content

Bachelorette follows the story of three friends, Regan (Kirsten Dunst), Gena (Lizzy Caplan), and Katie (Isla Fisher), who are asked to be bridesmaids at the wedding of their high school friend, Becky (Rebel Wilson), who they used to ridicule and call "Pigface." As the three friends prepare for Becky's bachelorette party, tensions rise as they struggle to come to terms with the fact that Becky is getting married before them. The night takes a wild turn when they accidentally rip Becky's bridal gown and Katie stains it with a nosebleed. In a desperate attempt to fix the dress, they embark on a series of misadventures, including a visit to a strip club and a hunt for thread and a sewing machine. Along the way, the film explores themes of jealousy, insecurity, and friendship as the three friends confront their own personal demons and come to terms with their feelings towards Becky and each other. Will they be able to repair the dress and make it to the wedding on time? Or will their wild night of partying and self-discovery leave them feeling worse off than they started?
