Mohenjo Daro

Mohenjo Daro is a 2016 Indian epic adventure-romance film directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. The film takes place in the ancient city of Mohenjo-Daro, which is ruled by the tyrannical Senate Chief Maham (Kabir Bedi) and his son Moonja (Arunoday Singh). The story follows Sarman (Hrithik Roshan), a young man from a nearby village who comes to Mohenjo Daro to trade goods and meets Chaani (Pooja Hegde), the daughter of the head priest. Sarman falls in love with Chaani and learns that she is betrothed to Moonja, who is a cruel and ruthless man. The film revolves around Sarman's journey to defeat Maham and Moonja and save the city from destruction. Along the way, Sarman discovers dark secrets about Maham's past and learns about his own connection to the city. The film features stunning visuals and elaborate action sequences, showcasing life in the Indus Valley Civilization during the 21st century BCE.
