In the year UC 0097, one year after the opening of "Laplace's Box," the world remains largely unchanged despite the revelation of the Universal Century Charter recognizing the existence and rights of Newtypes. The RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 03, which disappeared two years earlier, is now about to show itself in the Earth Sphere once more. A golden phoenix... named Phenex. Against the backdrop of a changing world, three friends - Rita, Michele, and Jona - are reunited by fate and their shared connection to the Phenex. They must confront their past, their guilt, and their hope for the future as they become embroiled in a battle that will determine the course of humanity. With the powerful corporation Luio & Co. and the Federation on one side, and Zeon remnants on the other, the Phenex becomes the focal point of a desperate struggle for control. As the conflict escalates and the true power of psycho-frame mobile suits is revealed, Jona must make a choice that will decide the fate of humanity: to unlocking the key to immortality within Phenex or to protect the Earth from destruction.
