"Mitra" tells the story of Haleh, an Iranian woman who fled her home country 37 years ago after her daughter was executed during the Iranian Revolution. Now living a successful and peaceful life in the Netherlands, Haleh's world is turned upside down when she suspects that Leyla, the woman responsible for her daughter's betrayal, has reappeared in her life. As Haleh sets out to uncover the truth and seek revenge, she must confront her own past and the secrets that have haunted her for decades. Will she find justice, or will the cycle of violence continue?
