Mississippi Damned

In rural Mississippi, three young Black cousins are trapped in a cycle of poverty, abuse, and violence. They struggle to escape their circumstances and confront the demons that have plagued their family for generations. One cousin is a lesbian struggling with her identity, another is a basketball player who turns to sexual exploitation to support his dreams, and the third is a talented pianist who sacrifices her own dreams to care for her cancer-stricken mother. As they grow older and face their own personal battles, they must decide whether to succumb to their family's fate or break free and forge their own paths. Will they be able to escape the suffocating reality of their world and find hope for a better future?
