In Metti una notte (2018), a struggling young entomologist, Martino, returns to Rome to find his beloved uncle, only to be tasked with babysitting his friend's quirky daughter and her eccentric grandmother, Lulù. As Martino navigates the unpredictable nighttime adventures with his new charges, he unexpectedly receives a call for help from Tea, a former flame he reencountered earlier that day. With Lulù and the child in tow, Martino embarks on a series of misadventures and encounters around Rome, seeking to save Tea and find new love in the process.
