Ein riesiger Meteoriten-Sturm bewegt sich auf die Erde zu und kündigt den Beginn einer weltweiten Apokalypse an. Als schließlich das Trinkwasser verseucht wird, macht sich David Dematti auf die Suche nach seiner Familie. Im Laufe der Suche begegnet David der verzweifelten Lynn. Die Beiden tun sich zusammen, um einander n dieser Krise der Menschheit zur Seite zu stehen. Doch je näher David der Lösung des Rätsels kommt, desto tiefer gerät seine Familie in Gefahr.
