In the picturesque village of Jenu Koppa, a gentle flower seller named Hoovaiah (Dr. Vishnuvardhan) and his wife Kanaka (Suhasini) live a peaceful life surrounded by their three daughters and lush fields of fragrant flowers. However, their idyllic existence is disrupted when a multinational company sets its sights on the village's rich mine deposits, threatening to uproot the community. Standing firm in his beliefs, Hoovaiah embarks on a solo battle against the corporation and the government, using Gandhi's principles of non-violence and nonchalance. As the villagers face police brutality and intimidation, Hoovaiah's determination and hunger strike spark a movement that ultimately saves their home and way of life.
