In the turbulent streets of Warsaw in 1968, young lovers Hania and Janek find themselves on opposite sides of a political uprising. As students protest against the government's oppressive actions, Hania and Janek's families are torn apart by their allegiances. Romeo and Juliet-like, their love is put to the test as they fight for their relationship and their future in a country on the brink of change. Will their love survive the turmoil, or will the barricades between them prove insurmountable?
