In the small town of Whagoklee, a series of brutal rapes and murders has plagued the community for years, leaving the residents living in terror. Despite the police's efforts, the culprit remains at large, and the town is on the brink of collapse. Enter Choi Kang, a ghost hunter who believes an evil spirit is responsible for the crimes, and Mr. Shin, a press man who has come to the village seeking a story. As the two men investigate, they discover that the evil force is not only visible to them but is also using a mysterious string to commit its atrocities. Can they uncover the true criminal and bring peace back to Whagoklee before it's too late?
