In this charming comedy, a successful divorce lawyer in Graz, matchmaking mother Brigitte Fiedler, becomes determined to prevent her daughter Anna from marrying a musician.s She believes that Anna is destined to take over her law practice. When Anna introduces Brigitte to her rockstar boyfriend - who turns out to be Brigitte's former first love, Richie Moosleitner - things get complicated. Brigitte fears that Anna will end up heartbroken, just like she did with Richie. So she hatches a plan to sabotage Anna's relationship by enlisting the help of Richie's son, Michael - who is the complete opposite of his father - to win Anna's heart. But things don't quite go as planned as Michael and Anna start to develop feelings for each other despite their differences.
