Magallanes

In the gritty streets of Lima, a veteran taxi driver named Magallanes is struggling to make a living. His past as a soldier during the violent years of the Peruvian armed conflict still haunts him, but he's tried to move on. That is, until a woman from his past, Celina, unexpectedly gets into his taxi one day. The two knew each other 25 years ago, when Magallanes was fighting against the terrorist group Sendero Luminoso. Now, Celina's in a desperate situation and needs his help. Magallanes is torn between his loyalty to his former comrades and his desire to redeem himself. He decides to take part in a risky plan to help Celina get back on her feet, but it may come at a cost too high to pay. Will he be able to confront his past and find redemption, or will it all come crashing down around him?
