In the streets of Chennai, a powerful don, Maari, rules with an iron fist,s but his meteoric rise has made him many enemies. A young police officer, Arjun, is determined to take him down, but Maari seems always to be one step ahead. As the two engage in a game of cat and mouse, a beautiful young woman, Sridevi, enters the picture, complicating matters further. Maari appears to be not what he seems, and his past is shrouded in mystery. Will Arjun succeed in bringing him down, or will Maari continue to reign supreme?
