In the late 1800s, Dr. Belinda Simpson arrives in the small town of Sikeston, Missouri, to serve as its physician. She soon discovers that many residents, including children at the local orphanage, are dying from a mysterious illness. Despite facing opposition and skepticism from the townspeople, Belinda is determined to find a cure and protect the orphans, who are being blamed for the outbreak. With the help of her friends and her unwavering faith, Belinda must overcome the challenges ahead and save the town from this deadly disease.
