Lords of Chaos

In the 1990s, a group of young musicians in Oslo, Norway sought to create a new sound that would shake the foundations of the music world. They called it "True Norwegian Black Metal," and their band, Mayhem, quickly became the face of the genre. But as their popularity grew, so did their violent and destructive tendencies. The film follows the story of Euronymous, the band's founder, and his descent into madness and chaos as he becomes consumed by his own ego and desire for fame. As he clashes with his bandmates and rivals, including Varg Vikernes, the infamous musician behind Burzum, the scene descends into a surreal atmosphere of violence and terrorism that ultimately leads to tragedy. Based on real events that shocked Norway and shook the music world to its core.
