"Long Pigs" is a chilling documentary that delves into the life of a 33-year-old cannibalistic serial killer named Anthony McAllister. Two young filmmakers, desperate for a breakthrough project, stumble upon Anthony and convince him to let them document every aspect of his violent lifestyle. As they dig deeper, they begin to identify with Anthony's ecological and philosophical justifications for his cannibalism, but tensions rise when they investigate his conflicting stories and ever-changing philosophies. The documentary takes a dark turn when the filmmakers interview Merle, the father of a young girl who was abducted and never found, and Anthony becomes increasingly uncomfortable with how much of his life he has revealed. The film culminates in a deadly confrontation that leaves only a broken camera and this footage behind.
