In the midst of a harsh Russian winter, a group of strangers are brought together by their shared struggles and hardships. Galya, a middle-aged woman with a drinking problem, is desperate to reunite with her estranged twin daughters. Young couple Grishka and Anton are put to the test when their relationship is brutally torn apart. Artyom, a young boy, longs to see his missing father, but his mother refuses to let him go. As their paths intersect, they must find the strength to cope with their misfortunes and learn to rely on each other in order to survive.
