Little Buddha

Little Buddha tells the story of Jesse Conrad, a young American boy who is believed to be the reincarnation of a great Buddhist teacher,s, Lama Dorje . When Tibetan Buddhist monks arrive in Seattle to take Jesse to Bhutan for testing, Jesse's parents are initially wary but eventually agree to let him go. As they journey to Bhutan, Jesse learns about the life of Prince Siddhartha, who renounced his royal life to seek enlightenment and became the Buddha. The movie follows Jesse's transformation as he undergoes tests and rituals to confirm his identity as Lama Dorje's reincarnation and ultimately discovers the true meaning of compassion and enlightenment
