Lionheart

Lionheart follows the story of Lyon Gaultier, played by Jean-Claude Van Damme, a soldier in the French Foreign Legion who deserts and travels to the United States after receiving a letter from his sister-in-law asking for his help. Lyon breaks out of the Legion and travels across the desert to New York City, where he becomes involved in illegal street fighting to earn money for his brother's family. He quickly gains a reputation as a skilled fighter and is sponsored by an unscrupulous organizer of underground fights for the rich elite. However, his success in the ring attracts the attention of his Legion Commander, who sends two men to bring Lyon back to meet court-martial. Throughout the movie, Lyon must fight for his life and the lives of those he cares about while also confronting his past and the decisions he has made. The movie features plenty of high-energy action sequences and dramatic moments, making it a classic of the action genre.
