Family Plot

A wealthy elderly woman hires a phony psychic and her cab driver boyfriend to find her long-lost nephew, who she wants to make her heir. The investigation leads them to a successful jeweler in San Francisco, who is actually the nephew they are looking for. However, they soon discover that he is also a serial kidnapper and murderer, and they must use all their wits to outsmart him and his accomplices. The movie is full of twists and turns, with plenty of humor and suspense as the characters navigate their way through the dangerous world of crime and deception. The film features an all-star cast, including Barbara Harris, Bruce Dern, William Devane, Karen Black, Ed Lauter, and Katherine Helmond.
