In 1970, during the height of Quebec's FLQ Crisis, 12-year-old Manon and her younger brother Mimi stage a daring rebellion against their difficult family circumstances and the looming threat of foster care. Inspired by the political turmoil, Manon takes matters into her own hands and kidnaps an elderly woman, Mrs. Robinson, with the help of her cousins Martin and Denis. As they hide out in a remote cabin, the children's plan takes unexpected turns, and they must confront the consequences of their actions.
