The Brand New Testament

In a world where God is real and lives in Brussels with his wife and daughter Ea,, he is not the benevolent creator people might imagine. Instead, he is a grumpy sadist who delights in tormenting humanity. Ea decides to rebel against her father after discovering how he has been mistreating humans. She hacks into his computer and releases the scheduled dates of death for everyone in the world, sending them via text message. With her newfound power, Ea sets out to write a Brand New Testament with the help of six apostles she has chosen. Alongside her journey, people worldwide are coming to terms with their impending deaths or trying to make the most of their remaining time. However, God is furious about his daughter's actions, and he tries to stop her but is powerless since he is locked out of his computer. Eventually deported to Uzbekistan; meanwhile, EA and her apostles gather at the seaside, where they face a crisis when a plane carrying God threatens to crash into the beach. But God's wife intervenes restore her husband's computer and create a new life for mankind, giving people a second chance at life. The movie raises questions about morality responsibility and relationship between humans and technology. It offers a fresh and thought-provoking perspective on what it means to be alive; bring a world where God is not always looking out for humanity's best interests.
