Cundo kehrt nach zehn Jahren Abwesenheit in seine Heimat zurück. Anlass ist der Tod seines besten Freundes Suso. Cundo plant ein wildes Besäufnis mit seinen alten Freunden auf Susos Gesundheit abzuhalten, bei dem er ihnen vorspielt, dass alles in seinem Leben bestens läuft, und danach sofort wieder zu verschwinden. Aber sein Leben lässt in vielem zu wünschen übrig, und Suso hat mehr als ein Besäufnis im Sinn.
