Javier's Passion

Javier's Passion tells the story of a young Peruvian poet, Javier Heraud, who defies his father's wishes and pursues his passion for poetry and politics in the 1950s and 60s. As he delves deeper into the world of literature and activism, Javier becomes increasingly involved with left-wing movements and eventually joins a guerrilla group in an attempt to bring about change in Latin America. Alongside his love interest, Laura, and a group of like-minded intellectuals, Javier's journey takes him from Peru to the Soviet Union, Paris, and eventually Cuba, where he becomes fascinated with the Cuban Revolution and decides to dedicate his life to the cause. With a strong conviction to his ideals, Javier's passion for poetry and justice drives him towards a path of self-discovery and activism that will shape the course of his life forever.
