Kundo: Age of the Rampant

In 1862, during the late Joseon dynasty, Korea is plagued by natural disasters, poverty, hunger, and death. The ruthless aristocracy exploits the poor, leading to a rebellion by the Kundo, a bandit group that steals from the rich and gives to the poor. aiming to restore justice. The film follows Dol Mo-chi, a poor butcher who joins the Kundo after his family is killed by the corrupt nobleman Joo Yoon, who seeks to inherit the Joo family fortune by eliminating his rivals. The Kundo, led by Dae-ho, trains Dol Mo-chi, now called Dochi, for two years and stages a daring raid on Naju to redistribute wealth and confront Joo Yoon. Joo Yoon escapes but is later defeated by Dochi in a final duel as the Naju citizens join the bandits to overthrow their oppressors. Dochi becomes the leader of Chusul clan, continuing their fight against tyranny.
