Knock

In the charming French Alps village of Saint-Maurice, Doctor Knock, a shrewd former hustler turned medical professional, sets out to make his fortune by convincing the healthy locals that they are sick and only he can cure them. However, his past catches up with him in the form of an old acquaintance who threatens to expose his true identity. Despite this, Knock continues to charm the villagers and win their trust, but his plans are ultimately foiled by his own conscience and the complications that arise from his deception.
