Kings Bay

In 1962, an explosion at the Kings Bay mine in Spitsbergen, Norway killed 21 miners. The cause of the blast remains a mystery, and the incident led to the downfall of the Norwegian government. But was it really an accident, or was there something more sinister at play? A journalist receives an anonymous package containing old Russian recordings warning of the disaster a year before it happened. As she and her colleague investigate, they uncover a web of deceit and corruption that goes all the way to the top. The closer they get to the truth, the more they realize that powerful forces will stop at nothing to keep the story buried.
