In the vibrant streets of New Orleans, a group of small-time dreamers find themselves caught in a comical tug-of-war over a naive woman searching for a new start. Their passionate blundering and rants are both hilarious and heartbreaking, as they struggle to find their place in the world. Led by the irascible and Napoleon-complexed "Ditch," this ensemble of misfits will stop at nothing to assert their claims, even if it means getting lost in a game of threats, posturing, and sexual ploys. Filmed in rich black and white, this offbeat exploration of masculinity bringing to mind the spirit of Woody Allen and Tom Waits, is brought to life by an ensemble of seasoned character actors who have known each other for over twenty-five years.
