In the summer of 1990, the Soviet Union is on the brink of collapse, and the Baltic nations are fighting for their independence. Against this backdrop, the Estonian basketball team Kalev must make a difficult decision: should they participate in the USSR's championship, or stand with their people and risk everything for freedom? As they take to the court, the team's choice will have far-reaching consequences, both on and off the court.
