In the movie "Kaagaz," a farmer named Bharatlal Bihari finds himself in a battle against the Indian bureaucracy when he is declared dead on government records. Despite his efforts to prove he is alive, he is met with resistance and corruption at every turn. With the help of a few unlikely allies, Bharatlal embarks on a 19-year journey to make himself come alive again and reclaim his rightful place in society.
