Jilla

Jilla is a Tamil action film that tells the story of a young man named Shakthi who is adopted by a powerful crime boss, Sivan, after his father's death. Shakthi grows up to become Sivan's right-hand man and bodyguard, but he harbors a deep hatred for the police force due to a traumatic event from his childhood. When Sivan is insulted by a newly appointed police commissioner, he forces Shakthi to become an IPS officer to prove the commissioner wrong and save his crime syndicate. However, as Shakthi takes on the role of an honest police officer, he begins to question his loyalty to Sivan and ultimately decides to rid Madurai of his influence. The film follows the cat-and-mouse game between Sivan and Shakthi, as they engage in a series of intense battles and power struggles. Ultimately, Shakthi emerges victorious and brings peace to Madurai, but not before confronting his own demons and coming to terms with his complicated past.
