"Janaan" is a heartwarming romantic comedy that follows the story of Meena, a Pakistani-Canadian girl who returns to Swat, Pakistan for her cousin's wedding and finds love in the unlikeliest of places. As she navigates her way through traditional Pakistani customs and family expectations, Meena must choose between her career aspirations and her blossoming romance with Asfandyar, a charming and kind-hearted man she meets at the wedding. But their love is put to the test when they discover a dark secret about their beneficiary, Ikramullah, and must fight for justice and their right to be together. Will Meena find a way to balance her Canadian upbringing with her Pakistani roots, or will she have to make a difficult choice between the two?
