In 19th century Japan, a young woman named Itosato navigates a society defined by strict gender roles and societal expectations. As a "TENJIN," a courtesan in training, she strives for a higher ranking title of Supreme Entertainer. But her life takes a dramatic turn when she falls in love with a commander of the Shinsengumi, a notorious special police task force. Alongside two other women who share her passion and determination, Itosato must confront the harsh realities of their world and fight for their place in it.
