In the Shadow of the Naga follows three thieves who, after being cornered by the police, hide their stolen loot in the grounds of a temple. When they return to retrieve it, they find that the money is now buried under a newly constructed temple building. Disguising themselves as monks, they hatch a plan to retrieve the money at night, but their efforts are complicated by unexpected obstacles and outside forces that challenge their morality. As they navigate this dangerous game, they must confront their own demons and confront the possibility of redemption.
