In the Beginning

In the Beginning follows the story of a charismatic conman who poses as a civil engineer and dupes an entire region into believing he's building a highway extension. He hires workers, collects supplies, and brings hope to a struggling community. But when he meets the lady mayor of a small town, his scam is threatened and he must confront his own feelings. Will he save his victims and redeem himself, or will his lies consume him?
