I Am a Soldier

In this powerful drama, a young woman named Sandrine is forced to return home to her mother's house after losing her job. To make ends meet, she agrees to work for her uncle at a dog kennel that turns out to be a front for a dog trafficking operation. As she gains authority and respect in the male-dominated world, Sandrine earns the money she needs to gain her independence.
