In 1990s India, a charismatic college student named Daddu Thakur becomes embroiled in a controversial movement against the Mandal Commission's proposal for caste-based reservations. As Daddu gets swept up in the protests, he must navigate his complicated relationships with his friends, family, and his on-again, off-again girlfriend Jhulan Yadav. Amidst the chaos, Daddu is forced to confront the harsh realities of India's education system and the corrupt political forces that seek to exploit it. Will Daddu be able to overcome the obstacles in his path and make a difference in the world?
