Humor Me

Humor Me tells the story of Nate Kroll, a down-on-his-luck playwright who, after losing his job and wife, is forced to move in with his eccentric father in a retired people's community. Nate's life takes a turn when he meets a group of residents who are planning to put on a production of The Mikado. Despite his initial reluctance, Nate agrees to help direct the play and, along the way, finds a new sense of purpose and belonging. With the help of his new friends and a budding romance with a musician named Allison, Nate learns to embrace his Inner child and find humor in the midst of life's challenges.
