Lionel Macomb, a right-wing radio host, has his life turned upside down when his estranged 16-year-old niece Tess comes to live with him. Tess's arrival forces Lionel to confront his past and re-evaluate his beliefs. Along the way, Tess learns about her uncle's troubled past and helps him to see the world in a different light.
