Maddie, a successful businesswoman, returns home for the holidays after selling her company, hoping to reconnect with her roots and figure out her future. She's soon faced with her past when she runs into her former high school sweetheart, Carter, who's still holding a grudge for her abrupt departure years ago. As they're forced to work together organizing a Christmas dance for their hometown's high schoolers, Maddie and Carter can't help but rekindle their old flame, and they discover that their love never truly faded away. Amidst the twinkling lights and festive cheer, they must confront their complicated history and decide if their rekindled romance is worth another shot. Will they find a way to move forward, or will their past differences tear them apart once again?
