Heaven Help Us

In 1965, Brooklyn, a group of misfit teenagers at a strict Catholic boys school band together to rebel against their repressive teachers and explore their curiosities about life, love, and sex. Led by Michael Dunn, a new student determined to fit in despite his rough start, the group includes Caesar, an intellectual outcast; Rooney, a foul-mouthed bully; Williams, an obsessed sex fiend; and Corbett, a naive innocent. As they navigate their tumultuous adolescence, they clash with their overbearing teachers, including Brother Thadeus, a harsh headmaster; Brother Timothy; and Brother Constance; and find solace in their friendship and burgeoning romance with Danni, a girl who runs the local soda fountain. But as their pranks and rebellion escalate, they face the consequences of their actions and must confront the harsh realities of their lives. Will they find the support and guidance they need to grow and thrive, or will their struggles tear them apart?
