In the scorching heat of summer, a small village in the South of France is gripped by tension and anxiety. The residents, struggling with a lack of water and the constant presence of a troublesome young man, Josef, are on edge. As tempers flare and conflicts escalate, the mayor tries to maintain order, but it soon becomes clear that the situation is spiraling out of control.
